åµã®å¤œã®å¤¢ ("A Lady's Pleasure") debuts in Japan. I can't tell you how thrilled I am. This is my very first novella, and is . . . to my knowledge . . . the first time it has ever been published as a single title book. Isn't the cover wonderful? A storm and the ocean play a major role in Robert and Abigail's journey to love. Click here to enlarge the cover. Note how the sunshine is reaching through the turbulent blue clouds and caressing the water. Perfect!
The Lady's Tutor is now in eBook as well as in print format. While it is not yet available to Amazon Kindle users, it is available for the B&N's Nook, as well as Sony and other readers. You may also download it onto your iPhone and iPad! I have seen The Lady's Tutor at several eBook sellers, including Barnes & Noble and eBooks.com.
Llanto de pasión (Cry for Passion) hits Spanish bookstores in June! Once again Manderley, my Spanish publisher, has dipped into the world of classical art to find just the right cover to convey the mood of my work (click on the book cover to enlarge it). Rose's story is indeed heartbreaking. She more than deserves her happy ending! Lour, aka Montana, who posts on my message board, visited a bookshop in Spain last week and took a snapshot of my books all snuggled together. Thank you, Lour! I think Llanto de pasión will fit right in!
Wow. Readers at El Rincón Romántico, the largest romance website in Spain, voted El Amante [The Lover] as one of the best 100 romances published in the last 50 years. I am speechless, and honored beyond belief. Gracias, readers at El Rincón Romántico! And thank you, Rane Aria, for sharing your amazing talent as shown in the lovely pen and ink drawing of my two angels, Michael and Gabriel. Note the angry red on the black-haired man's cheek (click on the picture to enlarge it); Rane perfectly captured the burns that in The Lover scar Michael's beauty, while Gabriel - Michael's untouchable friend - stands behind him in all his cold perfection.
My German publisher Ullstein has reissued AND retitled Gabriels Engel [Gabriel's Woman]; it is now titled Abgrund der Lust. My Spanish publisher Punto de Lectura has reissued El tutor [The Lady's Tutor] with the same cover, but in a new size. Danke and Gracias!
The Romance Studio honored Cry for Passion with a CAPA (Cupid and Psyche) award for best Historical Erotic Romance novel published in 2009. Writes Abi at TRS: "I rarely read historical novels. Robin Schone, however, is one of the select few. Her stories are hard-hitting and intense in their ability to produce emotional responses from her readers. . . ." Il grido del desiderio [Cry for Passion] debuts in Italy! It is my first book published in Italian . . . by Mondadori, the largest publisher in Italy, no less! . . . so I am doubly excited. Future Italian releases include Scandalous Lovers and The Lady's Tutor, in that order of publication. In fact, Mondadori is going to do what no other publisher has done. But more of that later, when I have more information regarding the release dates (yes, that's a definite hint about things to come) for Scandalous Lovers. Meanwhile, I would like to thank bloggers . . . and readers! . . . at Isn't it Romantic?, Italy's largest romance website. I wouldn't be published without their support. Click below to read double reviews for Il grido del desiderio. Maet asked wonderful questions in two separate interviews (they are in both Italian and English; click below to read), one about me as an author and one about Il grido del desiderio, in which I also answered questions from readers. Thank you, my friend. And thank you, readers, for voting Il grido del desiderio the Best Romance Book published in January 2010.
Starting August 10 through midnight August 23, AAR (All About Romance) will be polling readers for Favorite Books by Favorite Authors, of which I am one (and may I say, am deeply honored to be so).
So please click here and list your favorite RS books in order of preference. It's a very simple set-up, and includes complete privacy, so no one will ever know how you voted, or even for whom you voted! Also, please don't forget the other 12 authors who are in the poll! They are all excellent authors, and I am sure more than a few are also on your favorite list.

So what do you think of the 30 second commercial? If you live in the Tampa/St. Pete area and saw it on TV, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
I can't begin to tell you how honored I am to be awarded the Romantic Times Career Achievement Award for Most Innovative Historical Romances. The 2008 winners were announced at the Romantic Times Booklovers conference in Orlando at a special luncheon, and were again listed in the June 2009 edition of RT Bookreviews. Thank you, RT!
æ„›ã®ãƒ¬ãƒƒã‚¹ãƒ³ã¯ç§˜ã‚„ã‹ã« [The Lady's Tutor] is now available in Japanese! Click on the cover to make it larger. Isn't it pretty? And doesn't my name - ãƒãƒ“ン・ショーン - look elegant?
Other international news includes the sale of Cry for Passion both to Suma de Letras in Spain and . . . my first Italian sale ever! . . . to Mondadori in Italy. I don't yet have pub dates, so please keep checking back. I can't wait to see the covers!
Meanwhile, I hope my readers in Spain enjoy the June mass paperback reprint of Amantes del escándalo [Scandalous Lovers] by Punto de Lectura.
CRY FOR PASSION will be out March 3! Just a handful of days away. Please forgive me for not posting this until now. As some of you may know, I had a heart attack on Christmas Day. I am now home (as of February 2) and am slowly regaining my strength. Thank all of you who have kept me in your thoughts. Your emails and cards have meant more to Don and I than I can possibly say.
I've been asked why do I end the video to CRY FOR PASSION with a brunette woman, when Rose has blond hair? The answer is simple: The crying woman with the brunette hair is us, every woman who has ever cried for passion. I think COS did a beautiful job. I hope you enjoy this truly unique book video to CRY FOR PASSION!
